what do you guys think are the best headers?
The stockers. Unless you are running really fast, anything but the stockers will cuase turbo lag.
Ditto,no reason to mess with that till you get to the low-low-low 11's.
Speaking of headers...
I recently started hearing a little odd noise and after poking around a bit I found the driver's side header cracked exactly where everyone told me it would be. Recommendations? Sounds like the common opinion is to replace them with stock headers. What are the odds another set of stockers won't crack in a couple months? Anyone have good experience with different headers? Lag time problems? What else? How huge of a pain in the a** is it to replace them? I only want to do this once if at all possible. Thanks in advance

I switched to the ATR stainless header driver side only after the first crack on stocker. Installation isnt that bad,just a little tight but this header wont give you the same problem a couple of years down the road...Just my2cents.
You can get the crack repaired. You will need a "torque strap" to prevent the crack from happening again. Most vendors sell them. I think Kirban's does. I also heard that the HR Parts n' Stuff motor mounts prefent this from happening.
