Okay, here's the deal. My 87 Turbo T has 140,000 miles on it with basic bolt on's. Recently (the last 2 weeks) my cars oil pressure has been a lot higher than it normally is. When I start the car it reads about 75#'s, but when the engine is completely warm at idle it goes back down to 30#'s which is what it has always been. However, when I drive around town the oil pressure @ 1800 rpm is up at 60-70#'s. As far as I can remember, my car has always been at 30#'s regardless of the rpm. I'm a college kid who can't afford to have this diagnosed by a mechanic at a shop. Does anybody know what the problem may be?
The way it is now, is the way it should be. Not sure what was going on before.
