does anyone know if a turbo and intake manifold from a 1979 buick regal would fit an 86 3.8 buick? If not what year would they match up with? Thank You.
Hi My 1979 parts book in buried right now. If I remember correctly 79 was all by it self. Part numbers for intake gasket set or visual inspection of gasket will tell you if it will fit. Bolt pattern is not your problem. The port shape veries from year to year.

The intake ports on the 3.8 V6 changed (for the better) in 1979, raised from the 1978-earlier configuration, so your parts should be compatible.
