I was on my way home from college today and I spotted a turbo Regal for sale. I stopped and looked at it.

It's rough. The passenger side is caved in. The spoiler is missing. It is all scratched up and beginning to rust. The engine compartment is full of dirt. The oil filler cap is off and the engine may need rebuilding. It has four flat tires and most of the trim is missing. It has been sitting there for two years. It's a later version because it is EFI. I'm new to these.

I am gonna call him tonight. I was thinking of swapping the drivetrain over to my '80 Cutlass with the 260 Olds V-8 which has a cracked block.

Thanks in advance.

Talk to the guy, and if he asks for anything over $1000, laugh at him. Find out more on it, like year, model(GN, Turbo T, T-Type), if it runs, what has been done to it, miles etc. Then you can pop back on here, list the conditions, and get a better idea what it is worth. I wouldn't offer too much, unless you have the time and the resources to strip it yourself. It sounds like everything needs to be torn apart and be rebuilt. But it would be worth some money just for the parts.

It's black and it's a GN I looked at that. If that means anything. I believe it's an 85 or 86 because it has the intake where the turbo enters the rear of it. Like I said, I'm an Olds man and I can tell you anything about their engines, but Buick is Greeck to me. Thanks.

it is a 84-85 model which there are not too many of left, that doesnt mean its worth gold, and as brian said its not worth much other than for parts, which will sell, dont jump the gun, take your time,
