Friday, April 26, 2002 - 06:27 am I recently took quite a drive to go get my first Turbo Car (758 miles worth of a drive). This is a big change for me (ex-camaro driver) This guy had a car advertised as a Turbo-T 1987 GNX Clone. It is a very sweet car. Interior is perfect paint is near perfect. Engine has only 4000 miles on it with a lot of mods as well. He told us the car itself only had 46600 miles on it. There is NO rust on it as well. When we got home and got ready to tag it a flag was thrown up when the Motor Vehicle Department said the last time the car was titled it had 117,000 miles on it (and that was in 1995). Now I am wondering how much I was really taken for. Is there a particular RPO code I need to look for? or any other characteristic? To figure out if it is really a Turbo T. It has the "T" in the middle of the steering wheel. It was originally Black with Chrome bumpers. So far that is all I have been able to find. Thank you...

Friday, April 26, 2002 - 07:48 am Check out the follwing: http://www.gnttype.org/numbers/rpo.html http://www.gnttype.org/general/vin.html The RPO sticker will tell you how the car is optioned and the VIN decoding can at least verify the year and motor.
