I like your pix.
The grill, blacked out of course, would look good on my WE4. With every other spoke missing, more air would get through for cooling.
I don't like that knee buster, with the funny ball, below the back bumper. I suppose it helps traction! Seriously, I would pull it out of there before someone splits a kneecap. {:<)TTYL!

Hi donald whats up? How are u? That is the hitch my father put on the car, about 3 years ago. We are gonna sell our boat, then the hitch will be taken off. I don't like that on myself. I am going to be putting a rebuilt carb in it this weekend, it hesitates alot when taking off. It will be painted soon, it needs it badly. When thats done i will put more picks on the site. do u have pics of your car? I will talk to u soon

Well Jen, i'll hold onto it for a couple of weeks. If things don't come through for ya, then I guess i'm going to have to put it on eBay or a Buick site. But like I said, i'll give you first dibs. Your not the only one that's tight on money now a days, that's the reason I am selling the fin [and because my wife says so, :-) ]. Well, let me know and wish every thing turns out to be OK. Oh, by the way i'm selling the Turbo-T for $7,000.00. Really nice car.

Hello everybody, I'm new here and have a few questions. I have been told that my 87' GN is a "lightweight" car. Is there such a thing? And how rare ar sunroof GN's?

Well, if it has an Astroroof, it's probably not "lightweight"... that adds about 200 lbs all by itself! :)

The "lightweight" nomenclature refers to lightly optioned cars with the aluminum bumper supports, aluminum brake drums, etc.

It's been twisted in the popular press (i.e. the "rare aluminum cased transmission" fiasco... ALL THM200-4Rs have an aluminum cased transmission ... even Gramma's Regal! :))

Ken, I should have clairified my questions a little better. My GN does'nt have any options except a rear window defogger. But I'm looking at another GN that has an astoroof. How will I know for sure if my car is a "lightweight" for sure and is it a rare car?

Ahhh... gotcha!

Well, rarity is something that is hard to enumerate in the GNs, since they are already a specialty car. To most, a GN is a GN, unless there's some really special feature (i.e. an ex-FBI car, prototype, etc).

Look for the RPO (trunk sticker) VD6 and VD7 (aluminum bumper braces) ... that's probably a good start.
