Friend of mine is unloading his father's old project car, an '86 Buick Regal T-Type. The car is in pretty decent physical condition, no rust or scratches. The interior (with exception to some mouse droppings) is in decent shape despite the headliner coming down. It needs a new front bumper and drivers side front turn signal, and according to my friend, also a new rear-main seal. Other than that the car (considering its been sitting for 3 years) doesn't look bad at all. I haven't given it a close inspection to check out the turbo, intercooler, etc... I figure if we can get it to turn over and start I'll give him what he's asking for it and take it from there. I've been reading the buyers guide, one of the things that it doesn't mention and I am curious about is the valve covers on this car. They're chrome with Kenne Bell and Buick Turbo imprinted on them, and what looks like a pair of breathers under chrome caps per cover... Was curious as to what that might mean...if they're stock or aftermarket.
Forgive me if this isn't in the right forum, I'm new...and this board's a bit bigger than the Neons one I frequent (yes, I presently drive a Neon...gotta do it in the winter, 300+ ft/lbs of torque the Buick has on snow will probably be a bad thing).
