Hey everyone.I am putting a 200 4R in my daily driven regal(non turbo). It is behind a mild 3.8 V6..again non turbo.it has non computer just old fashioned vacccum advance and carb. Can I devise a way to still lock up the TTC in OD to save some gas???I figured if I run power to it and the run the ground to a switch that i can flip when I am in OD and I want it to lock-up.Which pin is which on the tranny.I don't know which pin is ground, power etc and I guess I'll not use the other pins because they are for 3rd and 4th gear switch fot the ECM correct???I have no ECM.Any and all help is appreciated!!!Steve

Yep... what you described should work fine. You might want to check the Transmission page on the site, because I think it may show the connector on the side of the transmission with the pinouts.

If you can't find it, I'll take a look in the service manuals.

If you are putting the tranny in now, then you are probably going to change the filter, right? Well, you could just follow the wires. Also, you can wire it up to the pressure switch so that it will only lock up in OD, or you may want to tie it into the brake, so that when you apply the brakes it unlocks. If you have it only activated in OD, then this wouldn't really be necessary.
