Is anybody using a new D5 torque converter from GM? I am just wondering if it is the same as the original ones that can in our cars from the factory? My car is a 12 second recipe car with stock turbo, injectors, and ect. I don't think I need a higher stall speed converter with my combo. I am getting another BRF rebuilt and was wanting to install a new torque converter. Any info about the stock GM converter or a good aftermarket one would be appreciated.
