Dave Romancheck (Daver) | Saturday, May 25, 2002 - 04:27 pm Had my tranny rebuilt 10 months ago. Last night while going about 20 mph, I punched the throttle. It seemed to shift into second a little late. While waiting at the next traffic light my car started smoking like crazy. 2 blocks later the car was bareky driveable. Luckily I was home. By this time most of the tranny fluid was gone and the rest ended up on my garage floor. Would a blown front seal cause the fluid to pour out like it did? It did not drip, it was a steady stream coming from between the torque converter and the tranny. |
