I recently installed a 9 1/2" Precision L/U 3000 stall converter in my car,replacing the stock d5.It instantly numbed the car up.The car wont respond in 1st or 2nd gear.It falls on its face.It responds ok in 3rd ,while your already doing 40mph.My friend says the converter is to tight.60 ft times are 2.1 .I have blue tops,TA51,race tranny.With the D5 it would light up the tires in 1st and 2nd.Now it feels like a normally aspirated v6.
Yep, certainly sounds like something's wrong with the converter...
