Dan B. (Notacarlo) | Friday, September 27, 2002 - 03:09 pm Question 1: If the pin comes out of the TV cable will the transmission still work? Question 2: I have replaced my original TV cable. I thought that was the problem. I am mistaken. The cable I had before would not "reset". THe new cable will, but the shift points do not change. The old cable reacted the same way. Keep in mind that I am not yanking the cable all the way out to get "firmer" shiftd. I am doing this to see if the transmission/tv cable work. One notch out from the factory setting and it goes 1-3 realatively fast. The shift force is spiratic. At one point it is firm, then not firm. Then some guy tells me about the intermediate o- ring needing to be replaced....Intermediate o-ring!? I know what and where, but man it is one thing after another. Somebody help me or shoot me, at this point I don't care. I love this car (87) but I am getting ready to put a stick of dynomite in the Trans. fluid fill tube. Some how, maybe a new 200R$ will appear. Pray for me. |
