some one said that buick put a TC lock up switch wires already under the dash, did they really do this? is so, where can i find these wires, and how hard is it to do? thanks for any help

It's in the tech section under electrical wiring and switches. The wire on the upper right can act as ground. A good place to mount the switch is in the ashtray.

i recently installed a torque converter solenoid in my car,i was wondering if the wires were crossed in the tranny would it cause thhe engine not to start,i got everything back together and none of my gauges woulddd work and the engine wouldnt even turn over and all i did was replace the soleniod,need help!

try to unplug the solonid and see if the engine turns over nothing will be hurt. if it starts then the solonid is bad and try another one.
