James Fowler (Coolhotair) | Saturday, March 29, 2003 - 02:40 pm i have been thinking about putting my muncie m22 in my 84 t-type, and i was wondering which flywheel would work. thanks, james Fowler |
Phil Aubrey (Paubrey) | Saturday, March 29, 2003 - 04:52 pm First I would not advise it as the auto trans performs better. The 1978 Regal was available with a four speed floor shift trans with the 231 V-6. Every thing will slip fit into the later models. Clutch linkage, flywheel, bell housing, ect. They were a federal application only. I can send parts illustrations and numbers if you want |
James Fowler (Coolhotair) | Tuesday, April 01, 2003 - 12:07 am thanks phil i was planning on going hydraulic for the clutch and there's a g-body at the junkyard that has the 4 speed pedals. i alaready have the trans and just needed to make sure i would be able to find a flywheel for it. i know that everyone recommends the auto for the turbo lag but im not too worried cause that only matters when racing and i dont usually let up when i shift in a race thanks for the help and a pic and maybe part number or vendor for the flywheel would help. Thanks again, James Fowler Oh yeah.. i also need the bellhousing, clutchfork and throwout bearing part numbers and illustrations |
