Adam Rohrbach (Robes) | Sunday, May 11, 2003 - 01:15 am Me, being paranoid about things, am wondering about what i should invest in if my stock 2004r goes down this racing season. It is a solid tranny right now, but that doesn't mean it wont be like that next time i run it. I am looking for a good deal on a race-built 2004r. If anyone knows someone who does good work with these kind, let me know. Or even if i should stray into the turbo 350/400 realm. I like your input. Thank you. |
Pony Killer (Pnyklr) | Sunday, May 11, 2003 - 07:38 am Check with Eric at Dynotech (if youre near NJ)for a tranny if you need one I got mine thru Cotton's but it was built by Eric. Its up to you depending where you are I guess . Mine went at the track - it was the only part of the car I hadnt re-done (by Cotton's)I might be wrong but I think the 200r4's can hold up and the 350-400's are used in the faster track cars (just a guess) If you need a turbo 400 tranny let me know I can get you an awesome deal on a core unit. Adam Rohrbach (Robes) | Sunday, May 11, 2003 - 12:34 pm I am not sure if i want to jump to a turbo 400. It will easily handle what i have, but so would a 2004r. All i need is a really well race built 2004r that can hold 400hp 450 torque. I should be fine with that for a while, before i go all aluminum. And i live in Illinois, but am willing to travel for something thats good. Thanks |
