Made an adjustment on the TV CABLE according to the GM spec. Car ran great on a test run.Made a run a couple of towns over maybe 25 miles at 75MPH. When I came off the ramp and hit the first stop light I thought the tranny was coming thru the floor banging, clunking and going nowhere. I got it to go in 1st gear, pulled off the road and tried adjusting the TV Cable again and again. think I may have caused the problem? Now all I have is 1st and reverse gears. Does any think I blew this GD#%&*%# tranny? Am I looking at a major overhaul? Does anyone know a good Tranny Machanic in Southeastern Mass? This is my first GN and would appreciate any advice. Thanks

Sounds like you may have the same problem that I do. One of my bands broke and now I only have 1st and reverse also.

Why were adjusting it in the first place?.
Sounds like maybe you just finished it off.
Jack Cotton is up your way.
He has a reputation of being a good guy
I would never take a GN tranny to someone that's not known to the GN community.
