My '87 GN has been in storage for about 2 1/2 years but I got it back on the road and running good execept I believe the TCC solenoid is gone away. I have the usual symptoms - shudder at slow speed (like standard tranny left in gear at very low speed trying to stall)attempting to stall, stutter, coming to stop just off Hwy ramp when hot, up-shifting after starting off from start just off hwy (hot)at too low RPM, or TCC locking up too soon causing near stall/severe bog at low RPM, wrong gear (too high) or TC locked too soon.

BUT I was going to get the TCC soleoid replaced when on holidays but today car will not shift gears, as if locked into gear, but not locked to TC, engine running up but no power. If I back off gas very slightly car shifts gears from 1-2 and the same from 2-3. Solid, hard shift. Car OK at highway speed.

All the fault of the TCC or other problem too?

Bruce
