i have a modified GN, just had the trans rebuilt with all Art Carr goodies and a 10" 3,000 stall with lockup. when i first got the car back from the trans shop, the TCC worked. After a few days it began to hang up or not disengage. So, I called the trans guy and he said it was the TCC solenoid, which is what i figured. Well, on my way up there for him to relace it, the TCC started acting up, like it didnt want to engage. After replacing the solenoid, it engages then immediatly disengages and stays that way. I've looked at all the wiring, checked the brake switch, even when i ground out pin "F" on the ALDL it does the same exact thing. I took it back and he replaced 3rd and 4th gear press switches and the solenoid again......still does the same thing. is it in the trans itself?????
