87 GN: sometimes when cruising at speed and you go to going WOT the car will downshift normally into 2nd gear and not shift into 3rd gear. this trans has been rebuilt by del-trans in Delaware. he was recommended by more than one gn guy who's car is going 10's or better. i know that is is nothing that they did because i have had the car since 94 and it has done this since i have owned it. i have replaced the governor with the recommended part number from the list and it has not changed anything. this problem is finally getting me frustrated because it will hit the rev limiter if you stay WOT. any ideas would be appreciated. thanks in advance. marc.
