I remember a thread regarding the art of changing the universal joints. But, an archives search didn't turn up much.
If anyone will, please brief me on the technique for removing the old ones and what technique is used to install the new ones.

Get you one of those little propane torches that are at Home Depot and other places. Heat the ends where the joint is in the drive shaft until you see the glue start coming out through the holes like a worm. I use my ball joint press tool to push them out and back in, but you could use a hammer and a couple of old sockets. One socket to fit the universal joint and one to receive the other end of the universal joint and knock them out.
