I was replacing the lower ball joint on my GN and when pressing the new ball joint in I could not get it to press straight in. The ball joint would always go in crooked(spelling?). I took it back out and noticed a lot of rust where the ball joint seats into the control arm. So I took a wire wheel on a die grinder and removed the old rust. Now the ball joint pressses in straight but I can take a rubber malet and hit the ball joint back out.The diameter of the hole enlarged from the rust being removed. Is there any way of correcting this besides replacing the control arm? Thanks.
