| | Sunday, April 14, 2002 - 07:20 pm I just got a Dual Gauge "A" pillar from "Lo-Tek". Does anyone know if it is suppose to go inplace of the original pillar piece or go over top of it. The problem I'am having is it doesn't fit too well no matter which way I try it. Does it need to be trimmed to fit or what. The two screws that come made into it lines up with one original factory hole in the "A" pillar but I guess I need to drill a hole for the other one. I also noticed that the bottom gauge pod will lay right against the dash corner. Is that normal? Thanks for any help,Tom. 87GN

| | Monday, April 15, 2002 - 09:31 am I ended up putting it over my factory one. It does rub the dash. The upper hole does match the upper hole on the factory piece, so I just used that and a provided screw (thus not damaging the factory piece). That keeps the top tight and it resting on the dash keeps things stable down below. Fit was OK and having the original still on the car, it (my belief) looks better because the replacement doesn't seem to wrap around the pillar as much as the factory one.
