| | Monday, August 19, 2002 - 09:47 am I have a fully restored 87 GN and my weatherstripping is brand new.. Yes they leak..After inspection I found that there is a gap between the T-tops and the car body.. The weatherstripping will not move anymore than it already is... Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem??
| | Monday, August 19, 2002 - 05:44 pm Where did you get the stripping from?
| | Monday, August 19, 2002 - 09:00 pm The weatherstripping is a new GM original... I wouldn't even consider aftermarket for such things like that... I was wondering if other GN owners experienced problems like this with their T-tops.. Now I know I know... T-tops inherently leak, but I had an 87 IROC Z-28 with t-tops and had NO problems, so I know that GM can put out a t-top product that is sound!!!

| | Tuesday, August 20, 2002 - 07:21 am Are the adjustments you are making done from the retainer? You may have to enlarge adjustments holes.
| | Tuesday, August 20, 2002 - 08:41 am How much would I have to enlarge the holes? and would it cause any other damage or leaks?
