LANDO PURDIE (87t) | Sunday, September 08, 2002 - 01:02 am I HAVE A REGAL 87 BUT THE QUESTION IS, IS IT A REGAL T ,T-TYPE OR LIMITED.I HAVE CHECK THE SITE FOR MORE INFO BUT CAN,T FIND WHAT I,AM LOOKING FOR . |
Ken Mosher (Kenmosher) | Sunday, September 08, 2002 - 09:12 am If it's a Limited, it'll say "Limited" on the quarter panels and it'll have a lighted panel above the glove box that says "Limited". It also has chrome strips on the bottom of the doors. The "T-Type" wasn't really a model in '87. You could get the "T" package on any drivetrain combination (didn't require the turbo LC2 motor). Basically, if it's a "T", you'll see the "T" emblem on the steering wheel, the front fender, etc. Otherwise it's a Regal (and the rear quarter panel will say "Regal") with the turbo motor. |
Hal Humphrey (Hump) | Sunday, September 08, 2002 - 09:46 am Just want to add/correct a little . A Limited will have a colum shift, the Vin will have an "M" as the 5th digit, the chrome strips Ken mentioned would necessarily be on the doors, the bumpers would be chrome .The door panels are also different from both the GN and the Turbo "T". They don't have leather pull staps and they have the words "Limited " embossed on them . A "Limited" with two front seats (45/45) will be leather and have a leather mini console. All the Limited seats will have what is referred to as pillow cushions. |
    M. Clay Marlow (Marlow) | Sunday, September 08, 2002 - 07:12 pm While the T package didn't require the LC2 turbo engine, the LC2 turbo engine did require that you get the T package. So, you can get a T that's not a turbo, but not a turbo Regal that's not a T. |
