I have a body tub I am going to replace this weekend. How do you pick up the old one get it out of the way and move the good one to the original frame without hurting it in any way?
I don't have dozens of jack stands but I do own a forklift with 4 foot forks. Might be a little risky though. ANY SUGGESTIONS AT ALL WILL BE FOREVER APPRECIATED. Also, any one near Lafayette, IN who would like to help let me know.

Do you have a cherry picker, some boards(including 4x4s), chains, and spare tires?
Try 2 tow straps. Jack the body by putting a 4X4 under the rocker panel and against the seam. Lift an inch or two. Get the strap under the tub and let it rest against the sides of the car for support. The loops on the ends are ideal for the forks. Get the straps as far apart as possible and test for balance. If the front clip is off, you may have to secure the rear end to the nearest fork to stop it from sliding rearward.
