Does anyone have a picture of a GN with shaved door handles, or have any input on what i can do to do this?

good question.

i don't have photos, but i was researching doing the same thing myself. i found these links:

http://www.jm3.net/linkworld/search?q=shaved+handle

the first guy has a wicked caprice, and the second is a vendor, autoloc, who sells shave kits. let us know if you go through with this, i'd love to see it!

Well, I havn't done it on my GN, but I did on my '69 FERD P/U. I did see a pic of a GN that was done but don't remember where. It is simple to take a digital pic of your car and "edit" it in photoshop, or even ms paint.

To do it, just cut a piece of metal to fit the hole, weld it in being careful not to overheat and warp the door, smooth with grinder, use as little filler as possible to make it smooth. And buy one of the aftermarket "Popper" kits as John suggests. Lowrider Magazine has a bunch of venders in it.
