3M makes a plastic cleaner (part #39017) that works real well for removing small scratches/haziness from plastic. Usually around $7-8 a bottle. Any auto paintstore or NAPA should be able to get it for you if they don't stock it. The lens itself may still be available through G.M. also. I have purchased one for my TTA and for my '76 Dually in the last year (both were less than $30 each).

There is a pruduct called Novus (sp?) plastic polish. Usually used for shields on helmets and such. Dinnis Kirk used to carry it.

I've used this stuff called Blue Magic with decent results. I restored an old '63 Lemans Convertible a couple years ago and I used it on all the lens covers for the tail lights, running lights, etc. Pretty cheap, comes in a tube like toothpaste. Worked great for that and it'll probably be alright for the dash too...the more you polish the better/clearer it gets. Just FYI...no guarantees of course.
