Anyone know why my seatbacks Don't lock on my 87 GN? how can I fix this?
They are inertia locks and will only lock when the counter weight is thrown forward. This happens upon brake lock up. The release knob is there in case the car is parked on an extreme downhill and the counter weight locks the seat back and you want to get to the back seat.
