How can I fix this ......mine is peeling AWAY....
Can you buy a replacement film..etc.

There's no way to replace the chrome, short of pulling it all apart and having it rechromed. Replacement stalks from GM are only available as all-black and have a slightly different contour.
I'm sure someone in the aftermarket will come otu with a look-alike replacement, but I'm not aware of one yet.
I believe at one time, Jeep was using the same stick. Whether or not it is available, I have no idea. I kinda like the black ones better.
I recentlt sawchrome and black replacement stalks at Napa. They look slightly different but may be better than a peeling chrome one.
