I placed an order with CARS INC. GN fender emblems. They came to me with the enamal cracking and not in GM packing like i was told over the phone. I called them right up and was told no problem and to send them back. the following is an email i sent to CARS explaing the story. BEWARE of this company ! Hello, My name is MICHAEL . I made a purchase from you over a month ago. The items sent to me were not as described over the phone and were damaged. The box that the items were shipped in was mint and perfect with no damage. The items were packed well and there was no way that the damage happened in shipping. I called you on the phone as soon as i opened the package and found the items not to satisfaction. I was given a return authorization number and told that there was no problem and to send them back and my credit card would be credited the full amount. I then went straight to the post office and sent the box back return reciept insured u.s mail at my cost and have receipt back signed. I then called yor company back to see if i was credited yet and was told i would get it in a couple of days. I called at least five times since then and kept getting the run around. Last saturday 9/8/01 i called again and was told that credit was given to my visa card. On the following monday i checked my card and had no credit and called your company back and was told the credit was given and it would take a couple of days to show up on my card. Today is saturday the 15th and no credit. I called your company again and was told that no credit was given and i would have to go thru UPS. I have my return receipt, all phone records. UPS had nothing to do with the items in the box being what they were. I want my VISA card credited the full amount of $75.85 or i will make a complaint against your company to VISA,UPS,the attorney generals office, and small claims court. You have had my money for over 1 month and your returned items for over a month. I called,explained,was given a RA#, and sent the items back like i was instructed to do by your company.
