Saturday, November 03, 2001 - 01:32 pm Hi! I just bought a beautiful 87 GN. THe only problem is it has a little bit of road striping paint on the lower part of the front fender. This is the paint used by road crews to paint the white lines on the pavement. How can i remove this type of paint safely?? Thanks

Thursday, December 26, 2002 - 02:38 pm Generally kerosine or gasoline will remove it without damage to your paint. Wax the area after removal. You can also buy road tar remover that will probably take it off.

One of the list members also sells "Mr. Shine" products which I think has the same stuff.
