Scott Keller (Keller) | Wednesday, October 09, 2002 - 01:39 pm The first shot at the TSM concept is over. And I'd say all things considered, it was a resounding success! Tech rules that didn't seem to generate much screaming, a points series that has generated only moderate disord - all of which has yet to be explained clearly to me, and pretty decent car counts - especially at the larger events! Each race offered genuine $$$ for prizes, thanks in large part to the series sponsors, and to those who have helped GNTTYPE stay up and going for the past 10 years! Now...What about next time? How can we improve things? Are there any clear issues in the tech rules that need a look? Any areas of disparity? What about the points arrangement? Anything not set up to work right? How can we keep car counts up? Or get them larger? How can we get more sponsors on board and raise the payouts? What worked? What didn't? Let's hear it! |
Brian Lee (Brianwagonlee) | Thursday, October 10, 2002 - 07:38 am I was just wondering..... I haven't hit 11.5 yet, but, I would like the opportunity to enter, but my car doesn't fit the guidelines, because it isn't an 84-87 Turbo Regal body. It is stock appearing for an 87 Turbo Regal, as long as you don't look at the long roof, the roof rack, and the 4 doors. It is a Regal though. It would be nice if you could find a way to include conversions while still keeping it fair. Thanks. Brian |
