New Turbo Restrictions have been put in place for GSCA races. The change that is specific to TSM is:

To clarify rule sizing stipulations, the maximum opening size anywhere on the compressor housing inducer must be less than the following :

71.5mm for TSM

As such, this means that the ported shroud housings are not legal for GSCA events. The GSCA just announced this. See their Bulletin Board for full details at: www.buickgsca.com

To make this more clear, let me state this:

1. The ported shroud compressor housings are not legal in TSM point series races at all in 2003.

2. The ported shoud housings can only be run at non GSCA-administered races beginning in 2004. As such, you can swap housings throughout the year if you want to have both.

The disallowance of the ported shroud housing is a GSCA ruling; not mine and not Lonnie's. It is their race to run so they have the final say.

But PLEASE NOTE:

3. You can run the GT wheels now as these can be installed in a "standard" non-ported shroud compressor housing.

If you have any questions, please contact me or Lonnie.
