V2.13 now offers support for VIN "K" 1987-1992 5.7 Liter GM/GMC/Chevrolet
vehicles! This includes the GMC/Chevy Pickups/Vans/Yukons/Tahoes/Suburbans.
The software will also work with 4.3 and 7.4 liter TBI systems in trucks/vans
and some of the "B" bodies (Cadillac, Chevy Impala, Buick Roadmaster, etc).

Color choices are now available in the PREFERENCES MENU.

TurboLink(tm) can now be started with an optional command line parameter
to go directly to either the Numeric or Graphical screens. Syntax:

Numeric Mode : turbolnk /n
Graphical Mode : turbolnk /g
List available cmds: turbolnk /?

Requirements to enable the OPTIONAL boost sensing feature are listed below:

3 BAR MAP sensor (user supplied)
Wiring harness (supplied in BST-001 Kit)

Notice that the PREFERENCES option has been enhanced to allow you
to pick either MAP or MAT input. In addition, you can enable or disable the
"splash" or "startup screen" and choose between BLACK AND WHITE and COLOR
display modes.

Also, the MAP sensor must be calibrated periodically to ensure that
readings are accurate. This is accomplished via pressing "F5" in
the RealTime Display mode with the ignition ON and the car not
running. The procedure is as follows:

1. Start TurboLink normally. Make sure the Preferences option for
boost sensing (pick the MAP option) is enabled
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
3. Pick Realtime Display from the main menu and then either Numerical
    or Graphical display.
4. Once TurboLink has synchronized with the car's ECM, press "F5"
5. Make sure that the "Successful Calibration" message is displayed.

Now you are ready to use the boost sensing option.

It is a good idea to recalibrate if the weather changes or, at a minimum,
the first time during the day that you use the program.

An electronic version of the User Manual is available via the Web
Site (http://nfinity.com/~kenmosher/tlink). Check it periodically for
updates to the software or manual.

Also included on the disk is the program TLCONV.EXE:
This utility allows you to convert TurboLink '.ECM' files generated
with TurboLink v2.00 or below to TurboLink v2.12 files.

 Usage:
   TLCONV <infile> <outfile>

        e.g. TLCONV JAN1RUN JAN1RUN2
 where:
<infile> is the name of the early ECM file you wish to convert.
NOTE: TLCONV adds the .ECM extension automatically.
<outfile> is the name of the new v2.01 file you wish to create.
If <outfile> is not given, TLCONV uses the name 'NONAME'.
NOTE: TLCONV adds the .ECM extension automatically.
If you have many early files to convert, you may use a wildcard ('*'):

   TLCONV *

In this case, TLCONV will create a sub-directory called 'TLCNV201'
into which it will store all converted files with the same
names as the source files.
