Link for TR values

Always refer to the NADA "Classic, Collectible, and Special Interest Car Appraisal Guide" values when trying to judge a fair value for a TR, GN, GNX, or GS that happens to be in excellent shape. The link below will take you to the page of the NADA web site that has the page containing all relevant year links from this guide. Be sure to properly judge the model and trim for the car you are judging the value of.

fyi--NADA also lists the GN as an option under 198x Regals in the used car (not classic car) section. My bank called this AM and told me that the loan value on an '87 GN was something like $4300. I directed them to the $8K/$14K/$23K that shows on the link.

Re: Link for TR values

i don't believe the NADA is the best gauge for the value of one of our cars. the way they get the values is by sampling the selling prices for every such car, and they don't at all consider any modifications that may have been done. as we all know, it is somewhat hard to find a stock gn or t-type out there, and the fast ones tend to go for a lot more money. the current nada says the LOW retail for a t-type like mine is 7 thousand something, and high is in the 20s. there's no way my car is worth that much. look at the t-types in the for sale section -- the only ones going for over $7000 are either highly modded or in pristine shape with VERY low miles. hardly low retail. bottom line -- mods affect the values of our cars so much that you can't just go by one simple set of guidelines. you have to take everything into consideration.

Yea, it's a little off... select an 84 Grand National then check 6 cyl. in options and 10% is deducted (LOL) and if you select the 307, they add the 10%
Maybe i'll scour the earth for that ultra rare 307 powered Grand National... never know what it could be worth in 10 years.

Classic Car Financial loan me the money for my 87 GN. Loan value was 16k with 127,000 miles on it. It's built and the motor only has 4,000 miles. I only paid 10k though.
