The numbers are in...sm 2.1
still learning this SM but just installed it today been playing around with it and have a few numbers i want you to look at my results let me know what you think...i know my coil change last summer may be the cause that i have no #s but MAL CODES but the codes point to MAF sig. to low[34] ..and O2 SENSOR slow to respond[13]....thanks for response in advance...

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
Your BLM and INT numbers seem suspicious. I'm guessing that you are using Turbo Tweak chip, as it uses an open loop idle. That, or the data was taken before the car was in closed loop. Somewhat doubtful, as the temperature indicates it is warmed up. (What thermostat is being used?) Also, if the car is running a MAF (AF or airflow) number of 3, that seems unusually low to me. I typically see 5-7 counts at idle.

You changed your post while I was replying...
MAF looks fine. BLM at 150 shows that the ECM is working as hard as it can to add fuel in. However, the INT at 128 says that it is happy with where it is set now. So, what injectors are in it and what injectors were the chip cut for? What is the fuel pressure? (With the hose off...) |
Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
The O2 code might be because the car appears to be running rich given the info shown here. A WOT run would be needed to see how the air/fuel balance is. And the MAF numbers at WOT.

Knowing is going to be pretty important.
That FP is good if the hose is off at idle while checking it. You can see the decal on most chips without removing them. Turbo Tweak and a few others require looking on the underside. Not that hard to do. |

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
Sitting at idle doesn't help much for getting good data. I can see that the CC (cross counts) are not updating frequently or as much each snapshot as they could be. If the O2 sensor is old or has failed due to lead, etc. it definitely needs to be replaced.
Those error codes really have nothing to do with the coil or ignition. |
