Pretty sure the blower motor is like every other Regal. Passenger's side of firewall, under the hood, on top. |

What are your symptoms?

Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
Are you sure that the motor resistor in a digital HVAC car is different than that in a analog HVAC car?
http://www.nos4gn.com/servlet/the-37...l-parts/Detail This is a AC-Delco unit, but I'm sure a local parts store could get an aftermarket one. Not that difficult or expensive to find. |
Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister

Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
Why not share the P/N so that we may try to help? Might be faster than digging through parts books if you have the number already.

Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
Trayway, I sent you a pm regarding the part you need. You can get it at Casperselectronics. It is part #107146 and runs about $227. What are your symptoms and how do you know you need that part?

Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
Casper's Electronics has the solution, as has been posted. It is improved from the OEM unit so as not to fail again.

Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
Before you spend the big bucks on that module, make sure it's actually the problem.
I just went through this with mine. I also thought that module went bad because when it does, not only does the blower quit but the A/C compressor also wont work. I thought it was fried. After some troubleshooting, I determined that there was no 12v getting to the module, via the big fat red wire. It's supposed to be constant hot. Check that. If the 12v is missing or low or flaky, follow that wire, it runs over by the fender and comes out of a multi pin UNPROTECTED connector that just happens to be sitting in the worst possible place. Right where water drains down between the hood and fender and getting it wet. Causing corrosion. I had to run a new hot wire around that connector to supply the 12v to the module. Lesson learned. Troubleshoot voltages before spending on something that may not be needed. |
Re: Digital Heater Motor blower Resister
hello; Wow that resistor is going for some bucks and with them corrosion is a problem. In my 94 Astro all the conn. where rusted togeather so I had to break them. I got it to work agian with out buying a new one as some of them go for $100 and I thought that was alot. Now in the van out of 4 B/M setting I have 2 and 4 and that good enough for now.
