Re: Cool???

Do you have a chip set to turn the fan on at a lower than stock temperature?

Are all of your fan relays working? Does it only come on "high", or low at first?

Re: Cool???

No. The fan is turning on when the stock chip is telling it to turn on at a higher temp than 160. Just like it is supposed to.

If you want to have it run strong, get a chip. Not the OEM 25 year old chip.

Re: Cool???

the fan is not the one that came on car factory im sure...it has a adjustable temp/fan on /off on it....160-230....there are 4 sockets as here
+....hot {used}
G....grnd{used}
m....dont know{not used}
C.....{USED} DONT know what this lead is but one of the three black wires off my fan harness is in this spot...does anyone know what this wire does as i did not hook this wire back up to the aftermarket fan i installed.??
the above is for the fan i removed not the one i installed......so i only used the + and - on the new fan

Might be a good place to wire a 'force fan on' relay and switch to insure the car runs cooler.
