I have determined that is a 3/4" - 18 inverted flare fitting on the radiator, problem is that no one sells a fitting that size.

Thanks NOTACARLO, I had a friend with an '86 and he ended up having problems with his TCI. I am leaning towards the PTC converter, trying to still have a lock up one due to being mainly a street car...

Too bad, I would probably be more reluctant to buy one if you were. I am still wondering about the F-body one and a separate oil cooler. Its the plastic tank vs all aluminum, 1 vs 3 core, and price...

The F-Body is definitely cheaper at $120 vs the $450 for G-Body, but the G-Body is a 3 core all aluminum vs the 1 core plastic tank F-Body. I think the G-body also has the built in tranny and oil...
