Very much alive. Everyone just prefers the unsupervised Facebook forums because they can ask the same newbie questions repeatedly, post off topic things, and call each other names with reckless...

Question Re: Any idea what chip this is

Tag looks handwritten, and says only:

I T 6
MOD.

Doesn't match anything I recognize.

Well, the "best head" for any application is the one that fits and has the best flow for your needs.

Not sure what heads you are asking about. Stage 2 V6 items, either from GM or via the...

I would check out http://www.hrpartsandstuff.com/products/rearend/swaybar.htm or...

Question Re: First time GN buyer questions

Everything depends.

- What shape and value does the '49 have?
- What shape and value does the '84 have?
- What do you plan to do with it?

For the most part, the 84/85 TRs are not as desirable...

If you are considering the 200-4R, have you talked to Lonnie Diers (Extreme Automatics) or Vince Janis (Janis Transmissions? Both have been around quite a while and I think would be more...

The "doghouse" would be the area with the throttle body on it that bolts to the intake. Also referred to as the plenum.

If you have white smoke out the exhaust, you have water in the exhaust. That...

Exclamation Re: Valve Cover Gaskets

I think the standard cork gaskets are fine. Just remember that none of them are cut to fit the stock aluminum valve covers correctly and they will require some trimming.

That is because it has been long discontinued.

That being said, if Cardone and MBM are doing rebuilds and manufacturing new units, they are putting together the needed parts. The O-rings are...

Lightbulb Re: Alky help

1) The stock innards have their limit, but you are a long way from it.
2) Brand? Some work well, some don't.
3) May need to be adjusted or replaced if going to run alcohol or race fuel.
4) Should...

Always need more fuel delivery for more boost.

I have run 25-27 PSI on a stock combo, but with larger turbos, larger...

2) You can do that with the wheels, but running 4 fronts is best. Spacers always can...
