Default Re: What will fit on the back?

i see there hasn't been a posting to this in awhile but thought people might be interested to know. when i got my t, it had 295/50/R15's on a 10" corvetter rallys. i dont know what the spacing dimensions were, but they did have a 7/16" spacer between the wheel and hub. you can see them on my pics. they look really impressive and people thought it was mini tubbed considering the tires were over a foot wide. i had a few issues with them. the passenger side caught on the outside rubbing the wheel well lip. as scott suggested, i could have rolled the lip and stopped that from happening. they also had a problem being off center. the spacer didnt have a lip for the rim to align to as it does with the rim to the hub. and as with the age of the car and having all original rubber bushings, it allowed the rear to move around and rub the frame slightly. maybe if someone wanted to replace all the bushings and machine a spacer with an alignment lip and also to add air shocks or airbags and rolled the fender lip, then they probably would have been ok. since i plan on driving the car i took them off and went back to the original aluminum wheels
