Default Re: B&M Hole Shot 2400

Thanks. That is interesting, since my initial research on the B&M website showed that the Hole Shot 2400 can be used with lock up.....

http://www.bmracing.com/PRODUCTS/Hol...0-4R-27-spline

and quoting from the installation instruction .pdf file on that page, "The new B&M torque converter can
be used as either a lockup or non lockup
unit. If the vehicle currently has an operational
TCC it will continue to operate....." Sounds good, anyway, which led to my inquiry to see what opinion is about them.

Boy, that could cause some disgust, couldn't it, if you did all that work based on advertisement and expecting it to work. Ha! I wonder if they have quite a few returns?

So, no, I didn't realize that. Thanks for letting me know. Advice from this site has been helpful in the past. Dan's Converters sound interesting. 3000 with lock up. How does that work on the highway? Does it actually lock up when cruising at 2300-2500, or is there a lot of slush there?

BTW, when I'm concerned about my gas mileage, I drive my four cylinder Toyota. Gas and tires on a T-type, who's concerned?
