The last Grand National was actually the last G-body, and last RWD car ever made at the Pontiac, Michigan assembly plant. The car was built on 12/11/1987 and the VIN ends in 65288. It was ordered by Bob Colvin whose family owns Springhill Motor Company in Springhill, Louisiana.
The car has several pieces within signed by line workers as it was built such as the turbo shield, up pipe, coolant reservoir, washer fluid tank, etc.
The car is kept in indoor storage and never driven. It has been featured in a Steve Dove book, and some very rough video of the car in the dyno cell at the end of the assembly line and being delivered on January 5th 1998 can be found at
