Default turning boost up or down by wastgate rod

Which way do u turn the rod on the wast gate to turn boost down I'm at 24 lbs and it was set there by last owner I want it down to about 15 lbs thanks

Turn it to make the overall length shorter which should be clockwise I believe. From what I remember, 1 turn equals roughly 1 pound of boost.

Less boost done by making the spring looser, which means LENGTHENING the rod.
