I just started my T-Type and the scanmaster would not show RPM.... Sorry I led you astray...My Snap-On scan tool does... Back to the charts... They should help you track this down... Tom G

Have you checked the wire that feeds the computer? Its the orange wire coming off the positive battery cable. Check it for corrosion, broken wire inside with the insulation still intact, loose connection. Something to look at.

Exclamation Re: help me figure this out

If it starts and runs without interruption, the orange wire has to be fine.

It almost sounds like the cam sensor is intermittent ...

I have seen and still see wires that have the wire broke inside of the insulation and the insulation still intact. The break in the wire usually occurs where the wire enters the connector and the insulation will be necked down. These wires will produce on/off and on again connections resulting in a vehicle running good one time and then not running at all the next time. I'm not saying that this your problem but it could be. You never know for sure what you are up against until the problem what ever it may be is found.

I still have not been able to find the problem this is one crazy car lol.just never seen a car not have any fire and keep cycling the key and it will all sudden have fire and as soon as it does it will fire right up and run without any problems til you cut it off . Then it starts all over might turn over once and sometimes 50 times before it will crank again
