Default A/C compressor bolt

For some reason this is unreasonably hard to figure out. Basically, I need the long bolt that comes from the back of the compressor ... thru the bracket that bolts to the exhaust manifold stud.

It's missing from the parts diagram in the W44 book. It's pretty long, and I think it might be something like an M10x120mm? Or 125mm?

I don't have one to compare to and I can't seem to find it any where in my references or parts books.

Any help out there?

Found this part number 1516366

Looks to be used on a lot of GM stuff. F bodies, GTOs, etc. friggin' pricey though! $5-8 plus ~$9-10 to ship

Ken,

I was missing mine to, My car has never been apart? I used A 5/16 long bolt with a nut on the front side. It works fine and you can't see it.

Question Re: A/C compressor bolt

Haven't cracked open the 44W yet, but does the book give any specs for the bolt? Almost sounds like something that could be ordered up through Fastenal, etc.

It's missing from the 44w in A/C mounting diagram but I found the gm part number above and it looks like 10mx1.5x125

I gritted my teeth and ordered it from a GM place. Total of $17.

Figure I'll get the right one.

Given the size, Fastenal and Grainger really don't even show anything close that cheap...

I found some alternatives (one from Polaris, of all things!) but they are all in the $4-8 ea. price range + shipping of $8-12 anyway, so it's kind of a wash.

Tried the local jobber here, but they don't stock anything that long in that size ... so they end up being about $20 to get me one.

At least we've captured the OEM part number in the thread and in the future it can be used as a reference if anyone needs one.
