need help asap!!!
i own a 86' t-type, the problem im having is after i jump on the gas for a about 5 seconds the car spits and sputters and pretty much has no response to the throttle, but the stock boost gauge shows 1 bar. if i stop and let it sit for a minute the problem goes away until the next time i jump on it. the problem seems to happen mostly when im at a 1/4 tank or less. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, alex |

Re: need help asap!!!
Could be...
- a weak or dying fuel pump - a choked or bad fuel strainer in the tank - clogged fuel filter - fuel strainer fallen off the pump - bad MAF - loose / bad intercooler hoses or clamps - manifold pressure line fallen off the fuel pressure regulator or leaking More informaton is really needed to diagnose this. Have any scan tool data? Fuel pressure readings during this behavior?

Re: need help asap!!!
Definate fuel problem.Check fuel presure first. This will tell you if you have any delivery problems before injector rail.
