The ring gasket between the tank itself and the pump/sending unit?

I'm 99.999% sure the answer is no.

With 5 of the words in your last post......you lost me.

Are you asking if the fuel pump is the issue or the regulator?

If the o-ring leaks on the regulator than yes....that would be a huge problem.

If you are talking about the tank seal, no.

What is an airtec pump?

If you are just getting an 84 GN in running condition, buy a stock replacement such as a walbro.

There are known issues with a run of walbro pumps being counterfeit. Buy a pump from a reputable Buick Vendor.

Exclamation Re: fuel pressure problem.HELP!

I believe he is referring to "Airtex", which is a brand of general chain part store replacement pumps.

They are not really performance pumps. The same pump listed for the TR is listed for FWD 3800 cars as well. Ergo, the pump will let the car run and drive OK, but I would not drive it at WOT with that pump. Or with any hi-po mods.
