toluene /xlyene can they be mixed the same?

I have used toluene before but I went to get some today and they were out of it ( the guy said that it was cause the price of gas and they had not had any in like 6 weeks)anyway I got some xylene, can I blend it with mineral spirits and some atf like toluene, is this stable ?I have heard of people running xylene ,did'nt know if they were blending with something else or running it straight. thanks
