Spark Plug Life
Hey guys-
Going through the spring cleaning and am about to change out the plug wires, which you recommend changing every 24k. It doesnt say anything about the actual plugs though. Should I only change them if I am having problems? Or remove them and check for fouling? Thanks.

Re: Spark Plug Life
My thoughts are plugs are cheap and running high boost is hard on them, so why not do them while going through the steps?
That way you can ensure they have the proper gap, no cracks in the porcelain, electrodes aren't rounded/worn, etc. BTW, a handy tip is to use a LONG extension with a U joint spark plug socket. Makes it MUCH easier to reach, keeps your hands away from hot manifolds, and helps reduce the tendency to crack the back plug.
